RIIERR301E – Respond to worksite incidents
This hands-on course prepares participants to operate as Emergency Responders within the resources, industrial, and infrastructure industries. It develops the skills and knowledge required to respond effectively to worksite incidents and establish forward control points in dynamic and high-risk environments.
Delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909), the course uses practical, scenario-based training to build capability in emergency planning, hazard identification, risk mitigation, and team-based incident response. Participants will conduct site inspections, test rescue procedures, operate response equipment, and adapt to changing emergency conditions as part of an Emergency Response Team (ERT).
Due to the advanced nature of this course, participants must have prior industry experience and a solid understanding of gas testing, breathing apparatus, HAZMAT response, and confined space entry.
RIIERR302E – Respond to local emergencies and incidents
This hands-on course prepares participants to respond effectively to local emergencies and incidents within the resources, industrial, and infrastructure industries. It develops the skills required to take control in critical situations and support safe, coordinated emergency response.
Delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909), the course covers implementing response plans, monitoring emergency situations, applying precautionary safety measures, operating emergency response equipment, providing initial first aid, and supporting relief efforts until the incident is resolved. Participants will also gain an understanding of relevant Commonwealth and State or Territory legislative and regulatory requirements.
This course is suitable for members of emergency response teams or individuals in roles requiring emergency management responsibilities. Prior industry experience is recommended.
