This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform at any height.
This unit applies to those working in operational roles.

Delivered on behalf of Tectra Pty Ltd (RTO40889), the training program has been designed for people to develop the skills and knowledge required to operate elevating work platforms (EWP’s) that do not require a Licence to perform high risk work. Designed for operation of elevating work platforms under 11m.

Participants will gain the confidence and judgement required to operate EWPs safely in field conditions. Courses cover specific machine types, including Scissor Lifts (SL), Vertical Lifts (VL), Self-Propelled Boom Lifts (BL), Trailer Lifts (TL), and Truck Mounted Lifts (TM). 
 
The work required in this unit relates to the National Standard for High-Risk Work, but this unit does not provide the licence.
